Period films about gay men- Beau Brummel: This Charming Man, The Trials of Oscar Wilde, Howard's End (arguably), the character Thomas' plotline in Downton Abbey, some plotlines in The Tudors, the BBC miniseries City of Vice had a subplot with two gay men, Elizabeth I (the first one with Cate Blanchett) addressed probably-true stories about the homosexuality of the Duc d'Anjou... that's all I can think of for the moment but I know that there are a good few out there! :)
